This Privacy Policy explains how URBANEO.CLUB ("we", "us", "our"), the online home of Urbaneo Style, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit urbaneo.club, buy from us or contact us. We're based in New Zealand and we sell to customers in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Germany. We've written this to cover the privacy laws of each of those places.
Who is responsible for your data: Urbaneo Style (URBANEO.CLUB), New Zealand, email hello@urbaneo.club. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we are the "controller" of your personal information.
What we collect
- Contact and order details: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processors. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Order and account information: what you buy, view, add to your cart, return or cancel; account login and preferences if you create an account.
- Communications: messages you send us (for example support emails) and survey or review responses.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and similar data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing preferences: whether you've subscribed to our emails or texts.
We collect this directly from you, automatically when you use our website, and from our service providers (for example payment confirmation or delivery tracking updates).

Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us run URBANEO.CLUB, including:
- Shopify: our e-commerce platform, which hosts our store and processes order data (Shopify Privacy Policy).
- Printify and its print providers: they produce and ship your order. Your name, shipping address, contact details and order details are shared with them. Our products are currently printed by a print provider in the United States; this may change.
- Payment processors: for example Shopify Payments, PayPal and others shown at checkout. They process your payment under their own privacy policies.
- Shipping carriers: postal and courier services that deliver your parcel and provide tracking.
- Analytics and marketing tools: for example Shopify analytics and any advertising or email platforms we use, to understand site usage and (with your permission where required) send marketing or show ads.
- Professional advisers and authorities: where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or restructure of our business.
Shopify also uses certain data for its own purposes as an independent controller. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and privacy.shopify.com.
International transfers
We're based in New Zealand, and our service providers are located in other countries, including the United States, Canada and elsewhere. Your information will be transferred to and processed in these countries. Where UK or EU data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as provided by our service providers. Where we disclose information overseas under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 (Information Privacy Principle 12) or the Australian Privacy Principles (APP 8), we take reasonable steps to make sure it's protected by comparable safeguards.
Cookies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to make the store work (for example your cart and checkout), remember preferences, understand how the site is used, and, where permitted, personalise ads. Where the law requires, we'll ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, and you can change your choices at any time through our cookie banner or Your Privacy Choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the store may not work properly. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by law.
Marketing and opting out
We'll only send marketing if you've opted in or the law otherwise allows it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, by replying STOP to texts, or by emailing hello@urbaneo.club. We'll still send you important messages about your orders.
How long we keep it
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax and accounting obligations (in New Zealand, generally 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Security
We use reputable platforms with industry-standard security, and we limit access to personal information to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us immediately if you think your information has been compromised. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
Children
Our store is family-friendly, but it's not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the UK and EU), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Purchases should be made by an adult. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent, and opt out of marketing or targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@urbaneo.club. We may need to verify your identity. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. We'll respond within the time required by law (for example, one month under GDPR, or 20 working days under the NZ Privacy Act).
New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020)
You have the right to access and request correction of your personal information. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
Australia (Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles)
You can request access to and correction of your personal information. If you have a complaint, contact us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
United Kingdom and European Union (UK GDPR / EU GDPR, including Germany)
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection (including to direct marketing at any time), and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. You can complain to your local data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, in Germany, the data protection authority of your federal state (see the EDPB members list).
California (CCPA/CPRA notice)
In the last 12 months we collected the categories of personal information described in "What we collect" (identifiers, commercial information, internet/network activity, approximate geolocation from IP address, and inferences), for the purposes described above, from the sources described above. We disclose these categories to the service providers listed above for business purposes. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out at Your Privacy Choices or by enabling GPC. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. California residents have the right to know, access, correct and delete their personal information, to opt out of sale/sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we don't use it for purposes requiring this), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can use an authorised agent. Make requests by emailing hello@urbaneo.club. Residents of other US states with privacy laws have similar rights and can use the same methods.
Canada (PIPEDA)
We collect, use and disclose your personal information with your consent and for the purposes described here. You can withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual limits), and you can access and correct your information. Our contact for privacy questions is listed below. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Mexico (LFPDPPP)
This policy serves as our aviso de privacidad (privacy notice). You have ARCO rights: Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition, and the right to withdraw consent or limit the use and disclosure of your data. To exercise them, email hello@urbaneo.club with your name, contact details, a description of the data and the right you want to exercise, and proof of identity. We'll respond within the legally required time frames. Transfers to the service providers described above are made to fulfil your order and don't require your additional consent. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may contact the Mexican data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where the changes are significant, let you know by email or a notice on our site.
